The battle for biological reality in the NHS is escalating, with children as the primary victims of an ideology that began with the undermining of marriage. The erosion of gender distinctions has not only affected marriage, but is now manifesting in alarming ways within our healthcare system.

Recent reports reveal that hundreds of doctors are challenging the British Medical Association’s rejection of the Cass Review, which condemned the widespread use of puberty blockers for gender confused children as lacking sufficient evidence. Despite this, the BMA continues to oppose a ban on these harmful interventions for children.

Even more concerning, NHS waiting lists include a child under the age of five who is being referred for gender care. This tragic situation shows the dangerous consequences of denying biological reality, as vulnerable children are caught in the crossfire of an ideological battle that prioritises adult-driven fantasy over evidence-based child medicine.

The situation has reached a point of absurdity, with reports emerging that NHS staff are being instructed to ask men if they are pregnant before undergoing X-rays. This is not just a digression into the bizarre; it is a direct consequence of the same ideological shift that saw the redefinition of marriage and continues to undermine biological reality.

Isn’t it time the NHS stopped pushing harmful ideology and returned to the facts? We must continue to stand up for real marriage and the biological reality that underpins it, not only for the sake of society but to protect future generations from the dangers of these ideologically driven policies.

At C4M, we have long warned that undermining the institution of marriage would lead to broader societal confusion and harm. Now, we see the tragic results playing out in our healthcare system, where children, the most vulnerable among us, are paying the price.
